From Patriots updates and behind-the-scenes access to coverage across the NEPA sports scene, 570 Sports Desk delivers analysis, commentary, and confident conclusions, often before all the information is available.
Each episode features game breakdowns, player spotlights, local coverage, and insights rooted in experience, instinct, and occasionally momentum.
If it’s happening in the 570, we’re covering it.
If it’s not happening, there’s still a strong possibility it will be discussed anyway.

Hosted by Dan “Pierogi” Wilkes: former catcher, 1996 North Atlantic League Champion (late-season call-up), and a man who has never once reconsidered a take.
Wilkes joined the Catskill Cougars during their 1996 championship run after injuries impacted the catching staff, contributing in what he describes as “a critical role” and what records describe as “available when needed.”
He returned in 1997 as a rookie, bringing a strong presence behind the plate, a high level of confidence, and a willingness to explain the game to anyone within earshot.
Now behind the desk, Dan delivers analysis with authority, conviction, and the firm belief that he could still compete if given “a fair shot and a proper warm-up.”
